Located just two blocks from scenic Lake Minnetonka and twenty minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, our property serves as the perfect retreat for gatherings, special occasions, or a peaceful getaway.

Nestled in the heart of Excelsior, Minnesota, The Guest House is a beautifully restored 1858 Victorian Italianate home, offering a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Our Accommodations
The Guest House features seven elegantly appointed bedrooms and seven bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 17 guests. For larger groups, The Estate combines The Guest House and the adjacent Carriage House, providing a total of ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms, suitable for up to 23 guests. The Carriage House is a separate home on the property with accommodations for up to six guests, featuring three bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, and two living rooms.

Our journey was uniquely captured in the reality series “Miss INNdependent,” which followed nine women as they collaborated to purchase, renovate, and transform this historic bed and breakfast into a modern vacation rental. Their collective vision and dedication have breathed new life into The Guest House, preserving its historical essence while introducing contemporary comforts.
